Location: Warren,Pa. | We're layering atmosphere into the Cafe at our church...putting stuff on the walls, and someone donated a Celebrity mando that isn't playable any more but looks really nice. I don't want to hang it vertically like in a music store...I want to hang it diagonally, like in the playing position. I'd like the hanger to be invisible if possible. Any ideas?? John <>{ |

Attach mounts on the back, or put a couple of small holes in it near the neck and lower bout and rest it on picture type hangers. You should be able to angle it any way you want. |

Location: PDX | Just my perspective; even if it is not "playable" i wouldn't compromise the structural integrity of the instrument. I'd find some way to get the results you want without further damaging it.
Not sure why i feel that way, it just strikes a bad chord somewhere. Carry on.

Oh....Gorilla Glue (to offer another method), although you will want to screw it to the wall while the glue dries. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | Dave's got a couple of guitars hanging at angles on the wall of his Ovation Gallery room or whatever he calls it. There are so many guitars there that I couldn't keep track. Sort of like the kid in the candy store. The ones he is referring to are very nicely and cleverly displayed and they do seem to be suspended. |
