If anybody is passing through Down Under in October, Tommy Emmanuel's "TommyFest" is going to feature Jake Shimabukuro, certainly no stranger to some on this Board. Also on hand will be German guitarist Joscho Stephan and English jazz guitarist Martin Taylor (wonder what he plays?). This sounds like an incredible lineup if you're into the fingerstyle thing.

A friend on mine is Tommy's UK agent, he's organised a "TommyFest" in my area this week, it starts on Friday for 3 days. Includes Richard Smith and Albert Lee. I'm gigging all weekend so I'll miss it.

Martin Taylor plays a Mike Vanden archtop, made in Scotland.

I'll be seeing him solo in June. I have never seen a guy play with as much personality as he does. Just great to watch. If anyone gets a chance, don't miss it. Here's a link to some of his upcoming shows: TE shows
