Can someone answer me on the E-Bay auction for an Ovation Gig bag # 7413999628 ,, Is this an original Ovation brand or is it a TKL gig bag ??
Does TKL make these for Ovation ???
Can someone clarify this ?? Thanks .....GWB

As per the label on the handle, I will "safely" assume that it's a TKL gig bag made for Ovation. Just like SKB, I've affiliated TKL as a company who makes the cases for musical instrument companies under contract, and I think they're fine cases. I currently have two hardshell cases made by TKL that houses one of my Martins and the Tak, and a small gig bag (also made by TKL) that protects my LXM. I have driven on long trips and have taken my guitars along. The TKL cases seem to provide ample support and protection for I still have yet to find any travel-related problems with my guitars. It might be a different story though when flying, but that's one thing I don't have any experience with.

these bags were sold with guitars send to some big box retailer. the arrangement didn't reallly work out.

I have been working with Ovation to try to get some of these but get the higher quality ones.
so far, getting results has been not too easy.

Al - these work fine, but one that zips all the way around would be cool. I use a couple of these for toting guitars around during the "humidity is not a problem" season, and they work fine. Full zipper and better build quality would be great.
