Other than the orientation, is there any difference between tuning keys on a slothead vs a flathead?

So I guess that means I could not take some tuners off a 12 string flathead and use them on a 12 string slothead.

Bummer

You need slothead specific tuners. The location of the string hole is different and the end of the post fits into a metal sleeve on the inner edge. Dave

Thanks Dave. That officially kills my great idea.

By the way, the custom made 12 fret slothead cutaway 12 string is rolling near completion. Looks really nice. I just carried in my Adamas 1688 so that he could get neck diminsions and duplicate the feel and string spacing.
