Location: Phoenix AZ | If I walk into my house with guitar case in hand, I'm not met with "Hi Honey, how was your day". No, for understandable reasons the greeting is always "How much did THAT cost you" ???
Well, yesterday was my 25th wedding anniversary and I walked in to the house with a bouquet of 25 red roses. Sure enough, "How much did THAT cost you" ???
My reply - "It cost me 25 years of my LIFE" !!!
Dave
PS, and NO she didn't accept that the 47RI was an anniversary gift for the both of us ... |

Like most of us, you've got too much invested to bail out now! |

;) She might but I don't know about Dave. :D
BTW, I was in a guitar store in Knoxsville yesterday.
Went in looking for a screw for the truss rod cover of my Country Artist. Almost walked out with a used Martin OM 16GT. It had some cracks and they wanted too much for the condition. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | My wife doesn't ask. She writes all the checks, so she knows. Normally, I would have called you a slacker for only making it 25 years, but in your case, I called the Pope to see if your wife is qualified for sainthood. After he checked your website, he said she'd qualify, but she has to die first. |

Location: GA USA | How about this: I leave a week from today for Hawaii to celebrate my wife's parents' 50th anniversary. How much? THEY are paying about 20 grand for themselves, my wife and her sister and both their families, 10 of us in all. Not bad, huh?
I've only been married 20 years.
Congrats on the 25! |

We're doing the Alaska Inland Passage, about mid-September, for our 25th. |

We're doing the Alaska Inland Passage, about mid-September, for our 25th. Good advice. We're also doing Alaska, for our 30th in a couple years. |

MY WIFE TRAINED ME EARLY! ;)
Follow all of your wife's rules, and you too can be happily married for a long time (and as a reward for good behavior, she lets me buy guitars every now and then). :D |
