Location: south east Michigan | The return of the OFC Photo Gallery or the OFC guitar. Anybody want to take wagers on which happens first??? ;)
When it comes right down to it, life's to short to worry about such things. Al is my mentor. Having met him twice now I am learning more and more to not sweat the small stuff. ;)
However...I got some tour pictures I want to share before they become old news.
Can anyone recommend a site that will host my photos so I can post them to the board? Hopefully something user friendly and non-invasive.
OT...Boy...if you ever install the Kodak picture program it just takes over every image file you have. |

In all seriousness. If you have questions about the (lack of) Photo Gallery you should go right to the horses mouth and contact Miles. I think he has been working on fixing it.

I did that at few weeks ago. It's someone else's turn.
Besides, it's hard to complain too much. It's not like someone is making a living by spending time fixing a chat board. |

The free service only allows about 8 pictures per month to be downloaded. I just might spring for the 20 bones to get the unlimited service. I'll post a link when I get something meaniful set up. |

I am actually still using film. I have been waiting for Nikon to make a digital SLR with a high amount of resolution to make it worth the investment. I have 4 high end Nikon lenses. That Is why I would like to get A digital SLR so that I can still use them. Nikon has the model D200 which I have been looking into but the price of the camera with the vertical grip/battery holder plus a decent 2g card will be close to $2000.00.
I would like to get the camera but finances don't allow for it right now. |

I have been going to the PhotoPlus Show each year for the last 17 years if not more. Due to the fact that everything is leaning toward digital I only spend about 4 or 5 hours looking around then I take the Shuttle to B and H Photo.
I have started to look into The Nikon Coolpix P3. After adding the Posibly necessary Accessories the price came close to $700.00 with tax and shipping.
Which camera do you have now? How are the pictures when there is less than ideal conditions? |
