I've been away for several days enjoying myself out on the Columbia River Gorge.
We stayed at the Crescent Bar Resort area in a great condo, hit a few wineries, then of course Dave Matthews Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights.
The shows were great, but sad at the same time. These were the first shows Dave played since LeRoi's death. It was pretty emotional at times, but still a great show.
I know a bunch of you aren't DMB fans, but I thought I'd share this special show with those of you who care. The video tribute is on the video section, but the pictures really tell the story, especially Rashawn breaking down on the song #41.
Enjoy...

Location: Jet City | Hey TJ, I heard somewhere that early on Matthews tried to get Ovation to endorse, and they said no.
If true, I'd say that was a big mistake. I think Dave brought the acoustic guitar back to life in popular music, or was a big part of it anyway. | |
