VIP 2006 Koa amp questions

TexasDoc Posted 2006-05-28 3:34 PM (#253199) Subject: VIP 2006 Koa amp questions Joined: December 2004 Posts: 1116 Location: Keller, TX On the tour, the Ovation guys stated that the way you could tell what images the VIP has installed is by pushing the tuner button when plugged in. This would flash a number. 1 is for the 2006 Koa, 4 was the 2080? When I push the tuner button, all I get is a dash. Anybody else with a VIP get the number? When I plug in, and slide the mixer up toward "Image", I get pretty bad distortion. I'm wondering if I have the wrong image.
