Witko e-mails me and asks if knew Jack Johnson's "Breakdown" (I had the CD, was "aware" of the tune, but didn't really "know" it). Says he wants to play it on ukes at the TourJam (then, a month away). Always willing to be an active participant, I accept. Sends me (and MastersTempleman/Durasa) mp3 & chords. I learned it on my ApplauseSoprano. Played it a couple of times at TMG gigs, and opted t'go with a capo'ed guitar beacause A.)My uke couldn't "PlugIn", and 3.)The guitar offered a bit of a "different" sound in combination with the other three "PlinkaPlinks".
Two weeks later Witko emails me with:
"BikiniTop or CoconutBra??"
The rest, as they say, is (unfortunately)"History".
It(and the following tune) WAS done, as Witko said "without a net" and completely unrehearsed (as is evident), and was an immense amount of fun. |

I only had two static shots to work with, and in one of them Keller was out of frame. The third camera didn't get zoomed back out after the previous performance, and was firmly unfocused on Brad's belly button. |

But this was my big close-up scene! ;)

When Mrs. Slipkid thinks that a "hobby" is becoming a bit distracting I remind her of a few other husbands we have known whose "hobby" is not quite so benign. |
