This is the 6th day of the 6th month of the 6th year. It is as good as time as any for my 666th post. I hope it is a good day for everyone.

At least I won't forget what day it is when I write the date. Is it a day for a lottery ticket?
In cantonese, 666 means really good luck or happiness! Go figure!

I once owned a motorcycle with a serial number ending in 666. I purchased it from a guy who swore it was possessed by the devil. He received a 28 point ticket on it in Colorado. His only salvation was to show the judge that he had sold it (to me).

I was working the midnight shift many years ago...watching Johnny Carson. All of a sudden they stopped what they were doing to announce that it was approaching "12345678". Nothing happened then either.
How come no one gets all worked up about 7-7-7.

First of all, great timing OLJ!

Second, it is a unique time we live in. I was around on 12:34 5/6/78, 01/01/01, 02/02/2002, etc.

See you at 12:12:12 on 12/12/12 when we finish the circuit.

When the Chinese run the world this will all be meaningless...

It's all meaningless now, except for it's entertainment value.

A lot like Shakira....and watching a politician fall down a flight of stairs.

OK now let's get real. It is the sixth day of the sixth month of the two thousand sixth year. Not the sixth year... Only 2000 years off from 6/6/6 but I guess that's close enough for some.

On my way home from work earlier this evening, I wondered why I felt strange staring at the number "666" on top of the building by the Roosevelt Field Shopping Center on Old Country Road. Almost on a daily basis, I drive past by it like it's nothing, until tonight.

Now that I realized today's date ... DUH!

Yesterday I got a hot tip on a horse called Sextus. I went to the bookie's and looked it up - running in the sixth race, wearing six and drawn six. Start time 6.06. Amazing - I bet the mortgage on it.
It came in sixth.

I'm going to have t-shirt made: "I survived 666"

I'd like to know, how they made it on June 6, 0006. Wasn't that the real 666? I don't even think they knew what it was back then. I guess ignorance is bliss.
