The prints came out fine. When I saw the pictures from the disc I don't know why the exposure was so light on the scans. It was late last night when I started to post the pictures. I wasn't going to start that at such a late hour.
In other words "I don't know how to do it".
I have always set my camera on ASA 400 film, aperture priority,
TTL metering, F8.0 and 1/30th of a second to open up the background for some depth. In other words basically Idiot proof. I have used this setting for years. Basically I don't even adjust it unless the circumstance really calls for it.
I don't know anything about negative scanners but is the a setting for brightness, darkness etc? If there is not, then my prints may have been adjusted by the photo processor.
I'm glad that you all like the pictures.
Waskel, MWoody maybe you could do some color correction for the DVD project. |

Location: Phoenix AZ | Phil, sorry - I was trying to make a joke and it didn't come across correctly in print. I was in NO WAY criticising your photos. They are great! I was just poking a little fun at the one of Moody and I where our normally full and flowing hair looks a little "thin". The issue is Father Time, not the photographer. Dave |

Don't worry. As I said before I don't know why the scans were so light. When I first saw them all I could think of was UGH!! No, my feelings were not hurt, but I wish you could all see the actual photos that I have. I might actually put all my tour photos together from all the past tours and bring them to the next tour.

Location: Rego Park, NY, | I just realized that during the tour I shot 105 photos and about 7 hours of video. I also had time to try out many nice guitars from other members and at the factory. The week after the tour I didn't feel like I had enough rest until that week was almost over. As hard as it may seem to other people who were there I really had a good time even though it looked like a lot of work.

Good job Phil! I think Tup is guilty of asking "do these pants make my butt look big?" with his "Am I going bald or is the flash too bright?"
Personnally, I think I look bigger and more tired than I want to remember!! :D |

I think he goes by the name of justrichard. I'm not sure if that's written with upper or lower case letters, or both. |
