You want an OFC guitar strap? YOU GOT IT. In fact you have your choice of straps. That is correct, there is no one strap, you can choose whatever you wish for your needs.
check out this website http://longhollowleather.com/
These are the same fine people that made those wonderful pick pocket key chain holders that were in the goody bags at the last tour. they will put the same logo on the strap. I suggested near the strap button hole so that it is unobtrusive yet shows your support for our club and the Ovation guitar brand.
These straps are ordered on an individual basis. They are a very high quality and made in the USA. At some point a run of generic straps may be made but for now you can get exactly what you want to fit your needs.
If interested follow the link, and then contact me.
Sorry it took so long for this to happen but my life has been a maze of insanity lately. |

For those of us who did not get the goodie bag, what is the logo that was used on the pick pockets? |

Just to be clear, is process supposed to go like this - We browze the site and pick out what we want, and then order it through you?

There's not a photo of the OFC emblem on the website, if that's what you mean. It's the same as the OFC Tour key chains. Maybe someone can post a photo here.
By the way, the ones I ordered were the model "2-1/2 inch Softy" SHUT UP CLIFF.

Dave Interesting.....I see a 2" and a 3" softy, yet somehow Tuppy has managed to order a 2 1/2" version.
Amazing how Tuppy can always get special orders from within special orders.....like his U681TA, his newest uke from France, his latest......oh nevermind! |

And when someone says for example they just cut down a 24 inch oak, what are they talking about? A tree that's 24 inches tall? I don't THINK so ... |

I have been trying to get a guitar strap as a gift for three years, ties, slippers, puppies (which I love), amps, strings, but no strap!!!
Here I go, I will order one if it is within my budget.
When I leave this post, I will place the order.
Prayers for you to feel better.
Love your crooked New Jersey slime, look what compares Texas De Lay's problems to that corpse that New Jersey was allowed to substitute!!
Bailey (now to order, be sure to send the merchandize, forget the politics)

I just need to know what you need to order the one I chose and tried to get through them, it looked pretty good. I am retyping this message as a Microsoft message interrupted this posting a few minutes ago and dumped me into their world without warning. Glad you can't see the smoke coming out of my ears.
Anyway, let me know how to do it as I need a good strap. My last good strap was commandeered when I left it at a practice session a few years back, and it mysteriously disappeared, the host of the practice gave me a totally wrecked five dollar strap as "I found your strap", mine was brand new and 25 years old, and a beautiful blue. Anyhow, there is no big hurry as I have lived without a good strap ever since, but I need one.

Everybody who gets one is going to love it, They are TOP quality straps.
Mine, with the OFC logo, will be attached to my Viper "From Here to Eternity", but will not be washed over by the waves on a beach, oh no, it will reside in the safety of my home.

there are 4 individuals involved to make yours happen. Enjoy it with our best wishes.
the straps shipped yesterday. The next batch will take place in late october early november so they will get here in time for the holidays.
BTW again my apologies on the time that it took. I had a rather rough summer. I just don't want to make those details public but many know what they are. |

Did you remember to put the "extra packing material" in the sound holes? Or did you just "stand by and watch" while somone else did it? Either way, I don't think you can be blamed... :D :p :D :p

THANKS to you benefactors, you have made being old and poor a little more pleasant. Shirley's eyesight has survived and even improved since her second operation. We go in tomorrow for an exam and, I hope, her fitting for glasses that she needs for reading etc.. She can see better than I on distant objects. Proves the old adage that opposites attract, I can read the finest print without glasses, but can't see a locomotive without my glasses. She can see an attractive woman a mile away and take my glasses away before I can even notice, but can't read the instructions on a bathroom cleaner with a strange spout without her very strong reading glasses.
Love the strap, and will mate it with my Viper shortly, also curse Al for sending a broschure about the new Ovations causing a SEVERE CASE OF GAS. I'm joking, of course, love the broschure and will put it with the original stuff that came with my new Viper.
THANKS

Go to Longhollowleather.com and find the strap that you like.
look at the price sheet and that will be your cost including shipping for the strap. (remember profits benefit the fan club)
Do not place the order directly because it will not get the logo.
e mail me with OFC guitar strap in the subject of your e mail.
alpep@lostartvintage.com
tell me how many of which model you want and I will then instruct you on how to pay etc.
We will open this up for a week or so to get the order together.
thanks |
