Location: Canton (Detroit), MI | ACTUALLY.....I did see a picture of JC playing a Legend in one of the books on him......I believe it was at some awards ceremony.
JC was one of the best. And the video for "Hurt" is the finest epitaph one could ever hope for.

Location: Munich, Germany | In the Cash Book of Jason Fine there is picture of Johnny Cash playing an old Sunburst Elite. Does not seem to be his guitar, because somebody put a tape on the bowl saying 'Johnny Cash'. Maybe he forgot his Martin that day.
I have seen Johnny Cash every time he was on tour in germany - which was a lot with him being a regular in german concert halls.
I think he was the one that made me learning to play guitar.
And there is not a single week without one of his records on my turntable.
He is and will ever be the greatest for me! |

Location: Canton (Detroit), MI | Is that the rear front steps or the front rear steps???? They swapped entrances at the Ryman between the old days (60s, when I was there with my parents) and now. Now you can go out the rear entrance/exit of Gruhn's and walk a couple of hundred feet to the entrance steps.
June Carter sang well enough to be a country music legend. That's all that matters.

Location: SoCal | To appreciate June Carter Cash, you've got to go back to the 40's and 50's, when she sang with the Carter Sisters. She was the youngest and provided much of the commedy in the act. She never claimed to be a great singer.
From everything I've ever read, she was a wonderful person. |
