Same deal as last year. All proceeds go the the OFC upkeep fund.
$29.00 per calendar.

OR:
PayPal...Skipkid1954 (that sKipkid..with a "K")
Now...PayPal charges a fee. In the interest of fairness to all, please send $31.00 if you want the convience of that service.
Designzilla is going to chime in and talk about what we need as far as pictures from the membership. We want to give you guys time to come up with some really super and inventive photos.
Remember...there was some folk who missed out last year. Because calendars do not have a very good shelf life we will ONLY be printing the amount of calendars that we have paid orders for. Yeah...like last year we will print just a couple extra in case of shipping damage. But do you really want to count on one of those being available?????
.
BTW...this is post number 3000 for me.
Thank You...Thank you very much. |

Did you read the finely printed fiduciary inheritance clause on the TPS cover sheet memo?
No memo?
Actually it was my reward for early support at the onset of the Calendar crusade, which went longer than the OFC Strap campaign but not as long as the OFC guitar ca... anyway.
I did discuss with Brad the possibility of an auction for #1 position if the right cause came up.
I think this Calendar will blossom soon and then we'll be fighting the rest of the world for #1111!
If these ever hit Japan... |

Make sure the coolest Ovation of all is represented - yours!
Let's see those boudouir Balladeer shots, Patriot portraits, your Country Artist in a coconut bra, that badass Adamas standing in front of the brick wall, that sexy slot-head silhouette. Whatever. Just be creative! Just send pictures! Lots of pictures!
Send BIG pictures. For digital shots use the highest resolution you can get from your camera, those extra pixels make a huge difference in the final printed product. It's way easier to make a ridiculously big photo smaller than to make a ridiculously small photo larger. If you have questions about a specific size or photo, pm me or email me the photo.
If you have great pictures that are small, send them anyway, maybe they'll work somewhere.
Don't be left out, don't be stuck staring at another generic Star Wars/Far Side/Dobermans are Cute/InSync/Llamas in Love/Star Trek/Simpsons/Sienfeld Calendar in 2007! |

And thanks for the early orders/encouragement from the rest of you.
Like 'zilla said...BIG pics. Crazy big pics. And when your composing your shot remember the calendar pics are long...not tall. Or as Designzilla would call it..."landscape".
The bar was is set kinda high with last years calendar. It's up to you guys to top it.
Note to Woody: remember...no wheelbarrows in the backround! :D
And for the new guys... Everything over costs goes to the OFC upkeep fund. The Ferrari and all the new guitars are just a coincidence....really. |

#1 (again)...Woody
#2 Phil (Sleepy Eyes McGee)
#3 Jerome
#4 & 5 Phil Wong
#6 Stephen28 Terry
#7 Tony Calman
#8 Mike (Fugot)
If I went strictly by the book ol' Sleepy Eyes would have come in at #4. However... there was some dispute at the tour about what was what and when was the official when. So...by the powers inherite with the job and because Phil is a really big, intimidating, and vocal dude, I bumped him up an notch or so just because I can. (It's good to be the King!) :D
The rest were close. They had to be decided by the date and timestamp on the postmark.
Thanks again for the orders.
I hope some of you guys have some BIG pictures in mind to submit. The calendar won't be much without them. Last year I gave the pics to 'zilla all at once. So that the printing deadline is not so stressed this year we will be looking at pictures as they come in. If we see something that really fits, Steve will be setting up the page early. |

So far I have about a dozen orders.
Last year we sold over 60.
But...it still early for ordering.
However..... WE NEED PICTURES!!!!!
Remember...this is a F.U.B.U project. ( For Us...By Us.. ... for those of you not from the hood.)
Jerome is sending pics.
We will have some from the Northwest get together.
We will need more!!!
This is a very creative bunch!!!!
Take a look at the month of March in this years calendar. That's a good one.
Hey Al....get out that new camera of yours and take a pic of some guitars with your new garage as the setting.
Many of us live in some the the most scenic parts of the county. Because you live there, you might not notice it any more.
BIG Hi resolution pics.
As big as your digital camera will go.
I'm trusting that the procrastinators will come through with the orders in due time.
But now....if you want to see your guitar in next years calendar....have at it!!! |

Orders are very important to help out the OFC upkeep fund and make this project worth all the time an effort.
However....as soon as you put down your checkbook...please pick up a camera or else the months of April and November will just be scans of your canceled checks! Or as the say accoss the pond the up in Canada...
cheques.
And BTW...just for the new guys...Every penny over the cost of this project goes toward the up keep of this site. |

So far I have 14 paid orders for calendars.
Thank You! You early-birds give Designzilla & I enough encouragement to go on with the project.
We are a long way from last year, but we'll get there. It's like the Jery Lewis Telethon...the numbers jump big time at the end. Here's an incentive...If we get over 50 orders, I WON'T sing "You'll Never Walk Alone" at the next OFC Tour.
HOWEVER...for now, WE NEED PICTURES!!!!Big Pictures!!!
I am awaiting pics from OFC Northwest gig.
I hoping to get some pics from Jerome.
And I hope to get some full size pics from Povation.
Jeff W. has sent some awesome pics of his new custom Adamas. Interesting settings...good angles... good photography (Ansel Adams...eat your heart out!!!)

That would be great! I might bring my cameras anyway. If room does not allow me an area to set up I can put my camera away and shoot with yours. Also, If you have your camera there I can use my video camera instead. I can probably take some photos with it too. It will probably be alot easier that using my camera. |

We have spanned the globe. France, Hawaii, Tasmania, and even that place where Jeff W. lives.
Now the trick will be reaching the sales goal of 50 calendars. I don't know what the cut off date for orders will be, but Steve & I are looking to wrap this up sooner than we did last year.
We might be missing the standard December "Christmas" shot. Maybe I'll see if they'll let me take some guitars into the local Christmas tree store. I think they are already setting up their displays. |

Printing a limited run like this is not cheap. I don't want to end up with dead, extra inventory when that money could have gone to the OFC upkeep fund.

I don't think it will come to that. I went over the list from last year and I think there are still quite a few procrastinating thrill-seekers out there waiting to come in just under the wire. |

Photo disk went out in the mail today along with an order for a 2nd calendar. Let me know when you receive it please.
Thanks,

That makes 25.
Steve is starting the creative process. When he is ready, it will be time to go into production. I don't yet know exactly when that will be. Last year we took orders up to mid November. I expect we might be 4 weeks earlier this year.
.
I was in my local big-chain drug store (Walgreens / CVS / Rite-Aid / etc.).... and I saw that they make up custom calendars. Their price is $29.99 and the end product is nowhere near the quality that Designzilla comes up with. These OFC calendars look as good as any you can find at the local bookstore.
.
Previous buyers and new members.... If you want one, please get your order in. I'd like to see us reach the goal of 50 calendars. Last year I think we sold about 65. |

For all those who just have to have some sort of deadline to work with, I'll have one after I hear for Designzilla. For those of you who don't need that type of incentive .... please ....send in your order! |

Brad, I don't think I'm going to make the calendar. My 12'er is supposed to ship on Monday, so I won't get it still for a week or more...bummer, too, cause Koa photographs so pretty, especially here in the green Northwest.
Maybe next year... |

Boring . . but Correct. I've spent too many years trying to read menus in dark restaurants and the last few trying to figure out how to see with bifocals. I've also spent a lot of time trying to avoid spilling beer. At least you still have hair, Cliff. |

Ask Designzilla for an extension. Just like tax time. Just let him know about your situation. I hope that something can be worked out.

Stuck at 29 orders as of today.
I'm not worried yet... There are quite a few "regulars" who have have not chimed in yet.
.
How does everyone like the October page??? For those who did not get a calendar last year, this month features a multi-photo study of the famous #54 slothead.
You folks that have them or have ordered one for 2007.... it's time to talk them up for the new guys. |

Come on folks.... follow Wabbit's good example.
Any orders from now on can be concidered "late", for all of you who get off on that kind of thing.
It's time...
Order now so you don't have to whine about later. |
