Hi Guys Joined the group a year ago when I received my Ovation Legend 1717 starburst 6 string (approx 1985) from ebay. What a joy. I have been lurking and listening ever since. well yesterday my fathers day present arrived via Fed Ex!!!!!! took over a month I'lucky I still have any hair left. But I now am the proud owner of an Ovation Custom Ballardeer 1655 12 string natural(approx 1984) as well. One night I was on ebay and and saw this auction at a really low price and showed it to my wife(an angel in disguise) she as me if I liked it !!!!! yes it was beautiful. She bid $350 so I said better make it $351, she submit the bid and in less than 15 min. it was mine, it arrived yesterday and it looks like just came of the line. Sounds sweeeeeeet, plays like butter and is to good to be true. My wife thinks this is my last one, hee hee. Thanks for listening: William

I just got my 10th or 11th last one. There are so many beautifully distinct Ovations out there. Congratulations on having two of them.

I just had to explain to my wife that the BWL and a 1537 are coming to live with us which is OK because I'm giveing my friend Layne back the Resurected Ibanez, and (IF he promises to play it more :p ) Tony's getting his 1687RI back...

Lord only knows what she will think when Noah starts "storing" Trace Elliots & Blues Cubes at our place :p :D :p
