Location: CT | I don't need any more guitars. Be honest, who does? We just WANT them and can't always justify the purchase. I also can't afford the ones I want. Out of curiosity I visited Mile's fire sale, and lo and behold, I am awaiting my new purchase! YIKES! Also sent him a note inquiring about a second guitar. I may need therapy! Check out the site though, he some nice guitars there that you just won't see anywhere else, and not all beat up like some on the 'Bay. Miles is also nice person to do business with as well. What more could a compulsive shopper ask for? :D |

Location: Chicago | I never thought I would have GAS attacks, but now I am trying to complete my collection with a 12-string (adamas), an electric, and a Uke. Good thing I don't have any money. ;)
Seriously though, there's a certain point when you want to have different sounds from your guitars and there's another point when you just want tiny variations to make you happy. Buying stuff will never make you completely satisfied. There will always be something that you want to buy, and then you die. |

Just heard back from Miles, it turns out that 'Other One' I had inquired about was one from Mr. Kaman's private collection. I don't know if he'll part with it, and I'm pretty sure it would be out of my budget. :( |

Location: Boise, Idaho | Brad, I also had a noticeable absence of GAS after the Ute arrived, but after a couple weeks, I was back at it. Now, I am starting to agree that I have enough, although I haven't reached the too much phase. |

Seriously, is it bad to be (I assume) one of the few people here under 30 and own 8 guitars, with #9 on the way? |

Just tell SWMBO that it's retail therapy. She'll understand. She may even help!

It is a constant in our lives.
I even bought one of the ones from Miles, and I sold it to him.
Give in to the addiction, don't fight it, you won't win. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | I think it's wrong to be under thirty. No wonder you and I probably won't meet at gh1's. You'll arrive late and stay late, I'll arrive early and leave early. |

I understand. I've got that old time white knuckle wallet fever. It's like a seizure with no movement. Miles is cruel. Mean man. Disrupting the delicate financial balance of many families.
If you play electric, I would strongly encourage you to take a very close look at the Preacher w/ Viper pick-ups, depending on your taste.
Like women, I remember how I got it, not quite sure how it got away. Miss it. |
