| Hot & Muggy up here. More like the southern weather patterns lately. Despite the heat I managed to accompish three more things on my list of about one hundred. My Mom moved in last weekend so I have her appartment done but now I have the shop side of my garage to finish and make ready for insulation. (so the electrical is underway). Built a large rolling storage unit to hold the last of her things that I will keep in the shop and move around as needed if I get into a large project. Strapped a heavy cable around the old metal shed, that I have wanted to tear down since I first moved in here 4 years ago, Pulled it down just before dark and with an axe; divided the old, rusty, giant, hulk into sections that would fit in my trailer so I can haul it to the Dump after work on Monday. I now have the vent pipe for the septic system routed to the outside and I finished cutting up two medium sized trees National Grid left for me for firewood while cutting some storm damage. I did manage to jump in the pool about 10 times yesterday (saturday) to cool off from this heat. My girls have just returned from a local Play (very excited) that has been "put on" by some ex-broadway pro's and this has me up and wide awake. NO time for music once again this weekend but I did find a couple of possible Chapman Stick's for sale one locally... the other is in CA and not knowing the parties involved at all I am leary of sending money on trust.....well that was the day.... I do still have tomorrow or I guess, at this hour "today" to find the time to sit down and perhaps work out another song......actually with the outlets and switches I put in today and the tree's, the cabinet, the shed, and the vent pipe... that was five things not three! lucky me...
So now I'll betchure wishing you did not ask how the weekend went. Ohh yeah still looking for an acoustic doubleneck bass/guitar as well as the "Stick" by the way??? Please let me know if you happen upon one of these instruments will ya. Everyone...Anyone? THere has to be one of these hanging in some shop somewhere out there.....
Well back to bed
Randy..... enjoy the day ya'll.... I know I'll be sleeping quite late |

Location: Boise, Idaho | Spent our last weekend for awhile at the cabin. As usual, I worked on it. Only made one stupid mistake building an addition to the deck. Next 3 weekends are in Portland. |
