Location: NJ | When somebody had posted this(the SlotHead video) a while back, I watched it and originally thought that just Denny was playing a SlotHead, and Juber was playing a regular Adamas . . .
It took numerous attempts at "freeze-framing" t'get a clear shot of the other headstock behind Linda's head.

...by the way, looking to see if it was a slothead or not was the most exciting thing about that video. |

Location: Germany | Right, Juber played a standard 1687-8 during his time with The Wings. The pic was taken in 1979. The serial # must be below 400, as this guitar has three inlays above the 12th fret. The later Adamas had only two inlays.

| Nice Thanks Sam that was fun.... I have to admit I have been playing Blackbird with standard tuning for years. It was nice to see this and learn to get used to tuning down a full note. it makes the song so much easier and it sounds so much better now with the low string at the octave as well.
Sam I tip my hat to Tony concerning that slothead you have.....I sure would love to own one of these at least once in my life but unless one comes up at just the right time I may never see it happen. I wanted to get this old car sold and some other things lined up so I could have the factory build me a doubleneck with a bass and make a solid offer this slothead of yours.... but I sure will never be able to do both. Have not heard anything about the doubleneck anyway. So I am unsure how much this will cost.
I will ask again.
Thanks for the visuals Sam! |

Location: SoCal | Interesting...as to the list:
51-91 1687-7 Wings 12/3/76
57-93 1689-8 Wings 12/3/76
# 57 (1689 wide neck) is Sam's...
As to Juber, his website solicits questions about his gear...a couple of days ago I did ask about the slotheads. No response yet.
Yes, as a lot of us, I have a high interest in Sam's offer to sell...whether I can do it is still a question. |

Philmax,i wouldnt mind having a gathering when the philipine woodbowlback reaches Atlanta.Where is that guitar now anyway? Also i expect to have my wood adamas project completed by the end of this month so it would be nice to have the roundwoodback,my adamas woodback,my slothead and any guitars anyone wants to bring at the gathering. |

Location: Orlando, FL | Sam, the WRB is going to New Orleans next. After that, I have no idea. You could always plead your case to LeStrange1. She might be willing to wait for a slight detour. Maybe? |
