The Ultimate Ovation Classical
At least he's getting closer to actual value territory now...
Are people really that crazy?
(never mind, dumb question) |

all of our O's are worth more (as far as quality) than what we have to pay for them.
maybe better that the world doesn't appreciate them ;) |

Location: Phoenix AZ | I agree with Tony. In the grand scheme of things what you get from an Ovation for the money (sound quality, electronics, durability, playability) is an absolute bargin. For those of us that use and collect them, that's great. But as a seller it really sucks. With all due respect, this seller is going to end up getting about $500. the guitar. Great for the buyer, bad for the seller. In 1972 I had the opportunity to get my first "good" electric guitar. Mom agreed to pay for 1/2 of it. I was torn between, for the same price, a sunburst Les Paul and a nutmeg Thunderhead. I chose the Ovation (which I believe now resides with Tony, small world). I never regretted passing on the Gibson until it came time to sell a few years ago. $400. vs. $2000.
Dave
PS - On a related thought. I mentioned above what a BARGIN Ovations are. So why don't more people buy them instead of Taylors and Martins? The answer is that a lot of people are NOT looking for a bargin. In a fine high end instrument they just want what appeals to them and sounds the best to them. "It sounds the same or almost as good for 1/3 the price" isn't going to change their minds. Even if the Ovation sounds BETTER, a lot of people have their minds and hearts set on a certian brand name and that's it. |

But no, no cable nor dvb operator offers NBC here unfortunately. So no Leno here. And, sadly, no Conan. Can't watch any NBA games for free and only a few if i pay. The only thing i can watch is CNN. But who'd like to be fed with lies all day long? |

...kind of like CNN. |
