1989 Collector Series - EQ Original?

I was checking it out on the Ovation site, and I noticed that the image of the EQ on the site doesn't match what my Ovation has. Mine has a round volume knob with a 3-band EQ, the OP-24. It looks like it's been there forever. Did someone change the EQ on this guitar at some point?
