Thanks for all the hard work Miles! |

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | Don't get too used to this new format as I already have the new software in place. I am no fan of what I affectionately refer to as (P)retty (H)orrible (P)rotocol or what the rest refer to as PHP.
The newer BB will be sooo much better. No more hosting pictures and having to stand on your head to post a photo, just upload it. etc.. A search that actually works... etc.. Permissions that I define to make things easier... I can't wait... but I have to. a few more days.

Glad to hear it, if my conversation with John Budny goes well this week, I should have some new pictures for you soon.
Welcome back everyone!

Yesterday I logged in repeatedly and it didn't show that I was logged in. I did a refresh and it then showed that I actually was logged in. If it happens to you again, you might try doing a refresh (F5). I bet we both were logged in on the first attempt, but it just didn't reflect it in the upper right corner. |

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | Oh.. for those that care about such things.. the speed is and will remain fast mostly due to it being on a "Cloud" server now. While this upgraded software has helped by getting the forums into a mySQL database fro gazillions of individual files, then next step is putting it into a full MS SQL database powered with ASP based software.
Then of course there's the whole Ning replacement, but one project at a time. :) |

It sure is different. It'll take some time to get used to. (Looks incredibly similar to another forum...) |

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | Yep, it will be a changing... dramatically, but in a good way.
There are some issues being addressed now with important the data from this system to the new, but they are being worked on as we speak. I hoping within the next week to be moved over to the new software. It will be just as fast, look nicer, and have some features that I think everyone will appreciate.
And if you don't like it... blame it on MWoody :) His generosity is what has enabled this all to happen. (How's that for throwing someone under the bus) |

Danm you and your generosity Woody! Ummm, I mean THANKS for your generosity Woody! :-)
These are exciting times at the OFC.
I'm sure things will be fine, as long as we are not being taken over by the Fender Forum and hosting and moderation is moving to Korea... |
