Location: Madison, Wisconsin | Al Can get them for you. They work really well. The ONLY downside of the Hercules stands is that you can't hang a guitar with a capo left on the first fret. It's not a good idea to leave capos on anyway but...The other nice thing about Hercules stands is that people don't usually mess with your guitars 'cause they can't figure out how to get the guitar out of the stand. |

Location: Lebanon, TN | My favourite stand of all time (30 years). I have two doubles and a triple with one double living in the main family room with my ADII and my daughters D-15 hanging on it. Just in reach for those moments of desire and inspiration :-)
They also fold up really small for throwing in the back of the car and the comment about people not messing with your gear....very true. I have watched people give up trying to get gear off them and one guy asked me if I had the key :-)
Capo's. I use Dunlops or kysers and when done the get clamped to the head between the ears and don;t interfere with hanging. |

Off The Wall
I like/use Hercules stands, but I'm not really crazy about the hangers. There seems t'be a bit too much wiggle/play in the neck of the hanger (or at least, there USED to be) for me. The OffTheWall's are rock-solid.
At gigs, I use a Hercules double-stand with a mic boom "grafted" onto the top. Saves a HELL of a lot of valuable bar-room floor, and guitars are easily within reach for a quick-change . . . |

Seriously though, go with the Hercules stand. I got a single one at a road show event at Costco a year or so ago, and wish I'd picked up two or three more after using it. |

Location: NW NJ | Hercules is the best I've used. Missed getting an Adamas into a String Swing just right one time and it hit the floor. That'll never happen with the Hercules. Also, theeir floor stands are the best as well. Easy to adjust, rock solid, easy on the guitar, will never let go of the guitar and Willard is right. I bought about half a dozen of them for our worship band to use. Never a problem or complaint. And no runaway kids messing with your axe. Enough said.
Except that Al can get all of them ... ;) |

Location: South of most, North of few | Just made this one from ladder hangers at Lowes. They are coated with a nonskid type rubber coating and are about 2 bucks each (2 required for each guitar). I know it seems pretty crude, but it works fine and you can make the board longer and hang as many as you have wall space for.
