Subject: Inexpensive wide neck

Location: Warren,Pa.		Last year I helped a teenage girl get her first guitar. She's a large kid with BIG hands. I got her an inexpensive nylon string guitar because the 2" neck was just right for her.
Now she's progressed to the point where she wants a steel string guitar. She's a teen with little $ to work with, and still needs a wide neck. Most guitars like this are made for fingerstyle players and aren't "inexpensive." Any suggestions (Ovation or otherwise)?

Location: Boise, Idaho		Although it's not quite 2 inches, I'd try the Folklore if you can find one. It would probably run $3-400 though.

You could also take a 1615 Pacemaker or a Balladeer or Applause 12 string and run with 6 strings on it.
