1661 Balladeer

I have Balladeer #1661, and I used the features on this site to determine its age, but I'm confused. The serial number is 304765. The serial number listing makes it a 1985 guitar. The listing of suggested retail prices, however, only shows these guitars being made in 82, 83 and 84. Do I truly have a 1985? I bought it new, but I can't remember the year I got it (no, I don't have the original sales receipt). Productin could have very well gone into the following year. Dave
