Bought this 45 on a garage sale.. paid too much, but I think this group's got mojo.
The A side is "Midwest Central" written by Lena Masden and Doc Nau
The B side is "Steel Guitar Rag" (no written by)
It was recorded on the Emir label, Burlington, Iowa.
I haven't listened to it. I gotta clean it up, but it is near pristine. Also got a couple Kingston Trio's and a Jimmie Rodgers
(Im also a vinyl junkie)
The Engine is still a working engine in a Railway Museum in Iowa. According to that site it arrived in their yard in 1966. |
