Location: Connecticut | Hello all,
I'm somewhat new to Ovation guitars, but I've been aware of them since I started playing guitar about five years ago. Anyway, I recently acquired a 12-string electric hollow body guitar from a cousin of mine. According to my cousin, my uncle used to work for KAMAN Aerospace. My uncle was good friends with Charlie Kaman, as was most of my family back in the 60's. Well, Charlie Kaman gave my uncle a few guitars, and happen to have one of them. I've tried to do some research on the Ovation website, but I've had no luck. I don't know what kind of guitar this is. All I know is that it's an Ovation, 12-string electric hollow body. The most unique thing about it is that it has the number 2 burned into the back of the neck. There is no other serial number anywhere on the guitar. Can anyone tell me anything about this guitar? This is the link to the pictures http://baystate.facebook.com/album.php?aid=398&id=225200090&l=f6725
Thank you ahead of time for anyone who can help me.

Location: SoCal | If it is a Hurricane, non-seconds can run from $500-1,200 depending on the condition and finish.
Tuppie is a good source for this and again, check out his website (Ovationgallery.com).
Pictures would help, as well as knowing whether you are merely interested in knowledge or interested in selling. |

While details on that guitar are fact and, as mentioned, Tuppy can fill you in on those, monetary value is always subjective. I wouldn't waste my time on it. $.25 or $25 mil - what's it matter? |

I would need a rubbing of the bolt patterns. |
