according to the ovation site my folklore is a '74,it has the narrow saddle. ive been looking at some folklores on the internet and seen a few that had wider saddles sorta like what you would see on a classical. did the later one's have that type?? jason

My 77 has a wider saddle.

Jason,
Yours is a 1114, non electric, so it has the thinner saddle which actually adds to the acoustic sound. I installed a Schaller stick on transducer.

The A/E models use the OPP, or Original Piezo Pick up which is the big saddle. Nowadays the wide saddle is the norm.
