Location: Capital District, NY, USA Minor Outlying Islands | Just a heads up. Kaki King is featured in Decmeber 2006's Guitar Player. Interesting blurb on her equipment, which includes her Adamas and Hamer newport.
She also mentions the Veillette baritone (which is an awesome guitar). Veillette is a New York State company.
An observation, she mentions that she uses an octave pedal and is using Roland PK-25 to get organ and synth sounds. I was thinking about getting the ElectroHarmonix POG to get similar effects. The observation is that people in NYC who like to experiment with sound are trying out this kind of effect. I'd like to see how she develops it.
Anyway, that's it just a heads up, if I remember I'll post a link when December hits the web.
