Location: Earth·SolarSystem·LocalInterstellarCloud·Local Bub | The Hamer EcoTone arrived last week. I finally got back from travels today to play it thru the Epi Valve Jr, Temp recomended.
I'm not an electric player, but know how blues should sound. I can fake a blues riff here and there and noodle around with pentatonic leads and cords...
This EcoTone (with the Bigsby Trem/Grover Machines upgrades) is a very good sounding and playing guitar. Combined with the EpiValve Jr, for under $600.00, THIS IS A KILLER COMBO. Chunky, Slutty, Muddy, Crispy, Clean... hell, you can even nurse some wirey straty sounds out of this combo...
Highly recommend both. |

| I have 2 of the epi valve Jrs(heads), set up as a low-power stereo rig into a 4x12 cab or split wide into a couple of pa cabs... really nice and the neighbors still talk to me even if I do crank it up.
these little class As are pretty amazing for the price, and take effects preamps/pedals/modelers very well.

I just went gear slutty and ordered one of the VOX DA5's to play around with. Think a kickass pignose with 22 built in effects!
I actually got the british green one but I thought this color might appeal to Jeff or Tuppy! |
