| the abalone sections for the 82 collectors arrived today, (they sent 3 pieces) and I have cut the 1 needed and have fit/glued in place. will be re-attaching the rosette tomorrow.
Thank you so much to our own Al Pepiak, and to John Budny at the mothership for helping me locate and gather these for the repair.
The first-years collectors will now be fully restored/repaired. It is a wonderful guitar, and again I was lucky enough to catch a falling star.
Still getting used to the whole "Blue" thing tho..
Mwoody, send me your address and I'll forward the 2 remaining tiles, and the partial, along with an ounce of white mop/gold mop your way to be incorporated into future works. some inlaid woodys maybe?
