Location: Latitude 39.56819, Longitude -105.080066 | UPS or FEDEX ALWAYS shows up at my house by 10:30 or 11:00 to deliver work related materials, books, catalog purchases, etc......EXCEPT WHEN WAITING FOR A GUITAR.
Then I can guarantee that they will show up between 4:00 - 6:00.
Never fails.....automatic. |

Location: Chehalis, Washington | Okay...just a quick pause. The UPS truck actually got here at around 1:00pm, but I had it shipped to work, and I didn't get home until 10:30pm...hence, I've only had a few brief moments with her.
Let me just say;
WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW!
Okay, 'nuff said!
Seriously, though, this is incredible. Hands-down the finest sounding and playing 12-string I've ever heard. Warm, rich, bright tones (yeah, all at once!) and sustain that just rings out. Even with the lacqer still fresh, I can smell the rich fragrance of the Koa when I get near the soundhole.
The pictures I got earlier don't even compare to the real thing. For one thing, the shop lighting made the Koa almost an orange hue, and in real life it's an incredibly deep reddish-brown. The Koa is not only figured, but FLAMED too, with vertical and horizontal lines together...gives it an awesome 3D depth to the wood. With the abalone inlays and walnut/rosewood combo...
Sorry, got to play some more (quietly ;) ). I'll post daylight pics tomorrow.
Again: WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW!!!!!!!!! :eek: :eek: :eek: |

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | The grain match is outstanding. Considering how well the luthiers perform their craftmanship (craftpersonship?) at the Mothership, it is difficult to be patient while waiting for our own Koa models curently on order. You deserve this, Edenh.., considering some of your earlier guitar trading misfortunes this year. Congrats. |

Location: Copenhagen Denmark | Congratulations with Your new Guitar Andrew :) It is Truly a fine example of a " Work of Art " and indeed , those "Flames" lend a Sculpturesque impression to that Beautyful KOA top :eek: I am sure it will do justice to Your playing skills :) ,what gauge will You be using on it ,10 - 47 :confused: or perhaps ,if I may suggest, D`addario "Silk & Steel EJ 35 " ;) , at any rate , it is a Wonderful guitar :)
