Location: n.e. missouri | i made this pickguard for my classical ovation.
http://s97.photobucket.com/albums/l206/lofthesedazimgonnacutuin2ltl...
later on that ovations neck took a dive, for the worse'
i hope to someday have another ovation classical that is worthy of the pickguard.
the savarez 520-p's which are silk strings are not shown here because this pic was taken well after the guitar was gutted and salvaged parts used on another guitar.
520-p's have five of the six strings wound < very nice strings :) |

Location: n.e. missouri | if'n anyone is interested in assisting a person to restore his ovation or find one that is worthy of playing, let me know... i do nice wood working as seen at myspace page, but my passion is playing guitars not working on them. i cannot afford to continue to buy more guitars after making the initial investmaent and having the necks go bad,, i dont really have time for this. sorry about that.. :) |

c) or an NBA player

They With a name like that I'd guess EQ,WoW, or some other MMORPG addict :p :D :p :D
Hang around Scott(?), classicals come up once in awhile... |

Doesn't that pickguard, with all it's mass and area, really mess with the tonal quality of the top? |

(Side note - I'm glad I re-read your tagline. For a second I was wondering why you would be proud of having a "Geriatric Johnson"...my bad.) |
