Location: New York, NY | Wait, do I win the award for the most absurd subject line of the year???
OK, so my girlfriend's :D friend started the New York chapter of a charity called Mustaches for Kids. The charity works pretty much like a walk-a-thon only money isn't given per mile, but as a lump sum per mustache grown. Last year $13,000 was raised and this year the charity is hoping to beat it. This year the charity is the Children's Hosipital of New Orleans.
So, I thought I'd let you all know about the charity (both because it is for a great cause and because it is just the type of absurity mixed with good natured giving which is appreciated on this forum). If anyone's interested, I will post weekly updates of my mustache growing for your entertainment (the "grow date" is this thursday and runs through December 16).
If anyone wants to support my facial hair expedition and donate, please email me! And check out the web site at www.m4kny.com.
Cheers,
JT |

Location: GA USA | I had a mustache my last year of college. It had one of those spaces in the middle, so maybe I could get credit for growing two. |

Location: Waterloo, IL | Mustache? My wife has only seen me one time without my mustache in the last 30 years. I grew my mustache shortly before we met. I shaved it off right before I joined the Navy after my wife and I had been married for five years. Grew the mustache back as soon as boot camp was done and over with. Haven't lost it since. However, I have had several beards. Used to grow one every winter while I worked as a mechanic in New Orleans before I went in the Navy. Had three or four beards while I was in the Navy. Grew the current beard two years ago, although it did get six inches shorter recently.
