I've been playing a Glen Campbell 1627 reissue for the last month that I have on a long term loan. I gotta admit, I'm very impressed with this guitar. It doesn't quite have the depth of a deep bowl, but it's got a remarkable smoothnees to the sound. It's light weight, has plenty of bass and a full midrange. And it's got the classic Ovation look.

If I was gigging full time, I'd order one of these with an OP Pro and then have the strap button moved to the bass side of the shoulder. Then I'd play the hell out of it. Damned good acoustic sound and great plugged in.

Anybody else have one of these?

I don't have one but I played one in SoCal about a month ago. ;) It didn't knock me out, but it might have needed to open up a bit.
