Location: Tasmania | I was looking at Jerome's site and his #47 RI tracking page where he also has a pic of two #47 RI certificates. The coloured picture one came with mine (#14), but not the text one talking about the '400' 30th anniversary guitars.
What did others get with their #47 RI?
Jeromes #47 RI page

Location: Phoenix AZ | Well, I was SUPPOSED to get them both but somewhere between CT and NJ I think Bill used it to wipe the doughnut jelly off his chin. At least I got the guitar squeeky clean ...

Location: SoCal | I didn't get squat from my seller since I failed to buy from Al...course, didn't expect that my eBay offer would be accepted. In fact BB subsituted the case and sent me the truss rod wrench/manual/registration for an LX. Course, CrimsonLake was able to take advantage and get his low number. I do have one certificate from Al (not the one of Charles) as he is a true gentleman.
Guess you get what you pay for...as an aside, a couple of years ago I actually told Al to INCREASE his price on a 30th Anniv CL by $50 so that I could buy him dinner at NAMM even though I wasn't able to attend. I never have a problem paying for quality... |

I got rid of mine by rolling in the sand...but I hear that the OFC Store is going to have OFC logo flea powder and collars (from 15 1/2 to 17). |

Location: SoCal | And, you got the appropriate case.
Amazing that Ovation/Adamas allows some of their dealers to substitute cases, owners manual, truss rod wrench, any commemorative material, etc. Doubt if Martin, Gibson, Taylor, Takamine, etc., allow their dealers to fart around with what is listed on the company website for the model.
kind of like a Porsche where the dealer takes out the spare (substituting one from a Jetta), owner's manual, etc.
Again, just surprising that Ovation/Adamas doesn't manage their dealers better. |

Location: Phoenix AZ | I agree with Tony. Kaman seems to have no problem turning a blind eye to people like Bro. Bobby as long as they move enough product. Now he's really pushing Martin so it should only be a matter of time until he cheapens that brand as well. I bet in the end it's actually a very small part of the guitar buying population that seeks the lowest price no matter who it's from. Dave |

Location: Tennessee | kind of like a Porsche where the dealer takes out the spare They can't ... the manufacturer already did that. Given the size of wheels and tires they couldn't fit a spare anywhere on the car anymore, so on the new 911 if you get a flat, you start dialing.
It would be nice to get all the right stuff with your new guitar. One thing I will say about BrotherBB is that I think he gives more props to Ovations and Adamii than any other eBayTailer. |
