Adamas CVT and SMT Tops

The CVT looks like it's made from a cross woven fiber. But a friend told me the CVT stood for curved top. Do the CVT tops have an arch to them or are they flat tops like the SMTs? I had a SMT a number of years ago... I sold it for a 1537...
