Location: GA USA | My son said to me on Saturday, "The OFC is your myspace". I fear this may be true.
1) I always check the topics here before checking my email.
2) If I have something to say, you're the people I want to say it to. A picture to share, ditto.
3) If I have spare time to draw, I like drawing the OFC.
4) Somebody has free OFC guitar picks and I jump at the chance, planning to hoard them rather than play guitar with them.
Somebody please say that you're worse off than I am. |

Location: Warren,Pa. | My wife passes by and glances at my laptop to see what I'm looking at. As soon as she sees it's THIS site she gives me a look of disgust, shakes her head and walks away. I tell her it's just a little hobby...along with my guitars, but she sees it differently.
Last year she pointed out that it cost me (us!) $500 to attend the Factory Tour. I got defensive, telling her I'm sure it cost others a LOT more than that to make the trip. She thinks they're bigger idiots than me (if that's possible).
They say addiction is easier for loved ones to detect than it is for the addict himself.

You are very normal just like the rest of us even Cliff. So don't let anyone tell you otherwise. We are different we stand alone we my friend are THE OFC and don't ever forget that. So be proud of who you are and play that funky O Captain till the day you die.
Rock on my brother
Paul
And you thought you had problems. |

When she does that, do what I do.... ask her how much money she pissed away in the last year.
Then DUCK! ;) |

| My wife spends a good bit of time on a board called 'the nest' that's all women talk-talk-talking about children, husbands, etc. ad nauseum. The other day she glanced over my shoulder as I was reading the thread about the various ways OFC members have come up with to hide the real price of a new acquisition and she just smiled and said 'so, the OFC is YOUR nest.' |

(Where does she find the time?) Make that 3. Maybe I would have noticed she was cheating on me with you guys if I didn't spend so much time on this board. |

I can sympathise. I was checking out the galleries in this place at work the other week, making the occasional gasp of admiration. He said "You know it's not right, what you're doing, right?". All I could say was "Hey, it's not porn." His riposte?
"Exactly."
