Just thought I'd say 'Hi'...I've been an Ovation lover for years...originally owned a Balladeer, traded in for a 1986 Collectors (beeeoootiful it was) and now have a 1993 Elite 5858 12 String with the Angel-step finish and gold tuners...
...well...its time to switch once more and depending on interest, i may part with this lovely 12...thoughts/comments/suggestions?!?

Bob and Larry are great...they want the $200 you owe them...

...oh and i'm hoping for at least $ 1000 Cdn for the guitar...plus ship/insurance...it includes original hardshell case also

Purchase price was @ $2200 Cdn back in the day...I'm hoping to obviously recoup as much of that as i can

What are you going to get to replace the 12?

You can tell Bob and Larry I'm having a salad for dinner tonight - and they're invited.

Good price for a killer 12 string that sounds as good as it looks.

I believe MrDano has this same model that he aquired from a fellow OFCer!

Ah yes indeed, I do have the same model - acquired from a truly wonderful fellow OFCer!

Very good sound for a shallow body - and it is one very attractive guitar to say the least.

$1000 Canadian, isn't that like $150 in real money?

well kinda, but when you add the federal tax, the provincial tax, municipal tax, the sir tax, the sin tax, the surplus tax, handling charges, custom charges and their associated taxes - then it's just about at par!
