Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | I absolutely agree on B♭ and B, so I almost always play them as barre chords unless I don't want or need the F or F♯ notes (quite rare), in which event they become simple one-finger chords. I started playing D with only two fingers very early on, so a four-fingered E♭ on five strings eventually came relatively easy, although probably not technically the right or preferred method. I'm looking forward to reading other comments on this thread. |

Not impossible to fret but darn hard to hit clean on tempo, for me at least.

But all chords have their time and place.
G7? Just let it hang a bit before you resolve to a C and you'll like it a whole lot more.
Bb? Most flat keys suck to play on guitar...with the possible exception of Eb, the non-singers key. (everyone can sing in Eb! You sing flat naturally? You're halfway there!)
Aug6th's, those I have a spot of bother with. Fortunately, they don't come up much. |

I tune down to D a use a capo.
So Eb becomes E with capo on the 1st fret.
I have a key transposing program so I can transcribe the chords to any key I want.
Anything played in the key of F, (which will usually include the dreaded Bb) can be played in G by removing the capo.

Location: Omaha, NE | Thanks to a well broken finger back in high school, I really can't make the "A" shape bar chords like these:
E A D G B e
2 2 x x x 2
x x 4 4 4 x
Depending on how the voicing works, I usually just let the high e string get muffled. Or sometimes I'll play a fakey version like this:
E A D G B e
0 0 x x x 0
x x 4 4 4 x
If the song is in E Major, then that actually works pretty well most of the time.
Eb is not a problem once you get used to barring the "C" chord shape. But if a song has an Eb in it, it is probably flat happy all the way through, which usually means five minutes of absolutely uninterrupted barre chords, and my hand always cramps up.
But to answer the question, my least favorite chord is the wrong one. |

Whichever you can bend easiest. Major bonus!..it leaving many fingers free for flailing a other strings. |

| I might be way off base but it works for me. play all first postion chords without the index finger.. Only use middle ring and pinky unless you need it. . The nut is basically your index finger so playing an A-maj is easier as well as B-maj if you get use to it.. More room cause those fingers aint so fat. Heres the only pic I could find with the old index in the air???

That's good advice, its the only way I can go from A5 to Amaj. Otherwise, its a one finger A for me, which, I guess, really is poor technique. |

I will eventually get Bm without looking!
Favorites: E, Em, E7. I can really ring them out. |

E|---- x
Bo---- R
G|-o-- 7
Do---- m3
A|-o-- R
E|-@-- 5 (optional, contra-bass note)
...just two fingers and two open strings! |
