I just noticed on an Ebay listing that the 08C has no manhole cover. I realize the neck is now headstock adjustable, but how would one go about bowl access for electronics, bracing, or other internal maintenance?
Sorry if this has been covered before, just curious.

I guess they'd have to pop out the pre-amp and work through that way.

I guess I can see going through the preamp opening, but working through the sound holes would definitely be above my pay grade.
Thanks guys.

I think the answer to this is buy it new from Al, then if anything goes wrong, just let "Mother" figure it out.

Interestingly, the one he is referring to on ebay seems to be an exceptional deal if it is in fact new, and in fact a legitimate O/A dealer. Makes me ask "whats wrong with this picture."

On topic, however, when I replaced the electronics in my 2080, I stuck my hand through the VIP hole a few times, but I can tell you it would be a challenge if you had to play with anything major....and I too have small hands.
