| Damp cloth.
Never take advice on anything from a man who thinks spending his annual vacation with me is an idea worth spending money on. |

Looks much better now. Next I have to do something about the smoke smell. I'll work on that later. |

| At midnight on September 22nd the Dust Fairy calls and damns all dusty guitars to a lifetime of Adrian Legge tunes.
Living in Brighton you must know the Dust Fairy well. |

Location: Steeler Nation, Hudson Valley Contingent | You know how it is! You get a delivery at your office and you absolutely have to open it right now. It needed strings badly, and the case needs defumigating. I had about 20 minutes to do a quick clean of the fret board and top (they both needed a little beautifying). So I posted this question while I took care of the fret board. After that, the damp cloth took two good scrubbing applications to come away clean, but you should see what was underneath all that brownish coloration on the formerly white cloth! Absolutely perfect condition! Perfect I tell you!
Normally I would string this one with mediums, but I didn't have any on hand...and I had to hear it...so it's got new lights for now. Oh Lordy! What sound! :o :D
And I'm purposely spoiling by not spilling the beans yet. :p I need to take pictures first.
I'll post again ASAP! |

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | One of the things I really appreciate about the textured tops . . . clean it once with a damp rag and you rarely have to ever do it again. I have a can of pressurized air I use every six to nine months to remove the dust under the strings, but that is it. A textured top Adamas is about the only guitar I will regularly play with a short sleeve or sleeveless shirt. Depending how heavily one perspires, normal finger and forearm prints really seem to hide in the texture. |
