Speaking on behalf of the Colorado OFCers, us for sure. We had at least 26" downtown by the time it quit yesterday afternoon, drifts of 5' due to the wind in my front yard, nearly everything shut down on Thursday. But this is Friday, and things should be back to normal (sort of) by mid-day. For about the same price of a mid-range Ovation, you can buy a new snowblower. Tough choice, even in two feet of snow!

It's been in the 50's and 60's for like 2 weeks here in southern CT and NYC, which is very unusual this time of year (END OF TIMES!!!GLOBAL WARMING!!!EL NINO!!!)..uh, who was that guy? Anyway, no white stuff for the holiday. I think it's all supposed to freeze down to normal in January.

Rain. Followed by heavy liquid precipitation, turning into showers later.

What the heck, it's better than 60 mph winds...

I guess it is no surprise that we are having a white Christmas this year. In fact it has snowed for the past 3 days with blizzard conditions. Hope Santa can get through!

Started snowing here about 4 yesterday, but didn't really stick. Last night it added up to a couple inches. Traffic was only moderately paralyzed this morning. We might get a bit more this weekend, so it could be a White Christmas. We only get one about every 10 years. I hope it snows like crazy the next weekend when Miami comes up here for the MPC Bowl.

Sunshine - highs upper 50's lows upper 30's (after rain on Sat and Sun) I'll be burning brush piles during the day (after the festivities) and smoking a cigar and drinking Madeira in the hot tub that evening. Lord willing.

Nasty on Saturday, per weather forecasts. 6-7 inches in the Cascades, 'bout 4 in the lowlands. Best travel is Friday, or Sunday, over the passes. Probably have some residuals for Father Christmas to deal with.
I only have to jitney SWMBO's matriarch to-and-fro a couple times. Always has an ambitious itinerary, though.

Wet Christmas. Light to moderate rain predicted.
In the last ten years I think we've had only 3 white ones.

Rain and gusts up to 120 kliks Wednesday. Glad to see the end of that! For now.

Jeanette's family's out in Boulder.

Her brother works on the maintenance crew up at NCAR.

She got off the phone with him yesterday after he'd just finished a 42-hour shift trying to keep the roads clear . . .

Yesterday I had 3 double bogies, 8 bogies, 5 pars and 2 birdies. It got chilly and I had to put a sweater on for the last few holes. Life is good.

You're about as consistent at golf as I am, Dave. I tend to have a few more doubles, at least one double par, fewer pars and hardly any birdies. I can also spray them right and left, long and short, low and high, and even occasionally straight.

Last time I played golf I had several triple bogeys, on or two bogies, a par...no wait, that would be a CAR - the one I hit in the parking lot... 8 or 10 in the drink, and what comes after a quadruple bogey again? cause I had a few of those too. After that, things started going downhill.

Fog, fog and more fog. Close to freezing but never quite making it.

Merry Christmas everyone.

It will be a partly White Christmas at Casa schroeder - champagne in the morning, a 2003 Sancerre with the first course and my last bottle of Virginia Vidal Blanc with the Christmas pudding.(This is the best American wine I have ever drunk - or expect to drink. I have a case of the stuff sitting in jeff's house which I can't get out of the country.)

It will be red with the turkey - a 1994 Chateau Lafite Rothschild Paulliac. About the same price as a new Legend. And I will still have 2 bottles left - wanna trade al? (I'd like to point out that I didn't pay for this - I'd rather have the Legend)
