From both Standingovation and I, here's wishing all the best to our OFC brothers and sisters, our friends in various corners of the world, our soldiers overseas, and a special thought for those lost loved ones who no longer join us in this happy season.
All the best ...

Thanks Dave, holidays are always pretty sad when you've lost close family members. But this tune (done very well I might add), brings back much happier times from long ago, when the family used to watch "charlie brown's christmas".
Here's wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I hope you all are with the ones who mean the most to you! |

Got that song by Vince Gauraldi on my computer. Back in the 80's I worked with a Christian Ministry (Carnival?) setting-up a humongous Revival Tent. (280'x140'x44'). Mike the Music Leader, played electric piano/synthesiser. As soon as we got the stage put up, and the juice plugged-in, he would start out with that jam, extended version, hours-long. Always liked it.
The more I hear the uke, the more intrigued I am. |

You are a Hawaiian at heart and certainly welcome to come and jam ukulele with us islanders at any time. Of course, nothing compliments an ukulele like guitar so bring one of those too. As we say in Hawaii, "Hana Hou", which means play it again. That's a Standingovation local style! Right On Braddah! |
