Thanks to New Hartford for this outstanding guitar. Definitely the best Adamas I've ever played and heared. And thanks to Bellmawr for the excellent service.
Merry Christmas to all fellow OFCers,

I'm trying to read what is on the other gift.
But it's like it's all written in German or something. |

Yeah, I know ... Moody wants an OFC guitar blah, blah blah... doesn't like the color, wants a pickup, whaa, whaa, whaa... Put in some colored contact lenses, stick a mic in front of the damn 47RI and shut your yap, will ya?

that's not German on the other gifts. I got two DVDs
- Simon & Garfunkel: Old friends (live on stage);
- Jack Johnson: A weekend at the Greek (very nice!!).
and a 9-CD-box with all Paul Simon records.
The other presents on the pic are for my wife and kids, not worth to mention on this board. Maybe there are other boards for this kind of stuff (make-up, romance novels etc.).
Thanks folks for your warm congrats. Although I never met one of you in person (except Ralph and Kurt) I feel at home on this board. I really hope to get to know you somewhere along the way.

Location: SoCal | When I first got mine, took it to a local Martin & Ovation/Hamer guitar repair (five tech stations)...they almost didn't give it back.
When Matt was in town for a Chop Shop, took it to the guitar store...ended up with an hour impromptu jam session...either Fred or Matt could attest to the reception given to the 47RI.
Not many can get the original, soon you won't be able to get the reissue. List is $5k. Time value of money calculation, the original would list for over $7,200.
This is one of the beg, borrow, steal deals. |
