Location: puerto vallarta, mexico | is it a collectors series? did ovation hand number any others? you need to supply model number and condition and if it has original case to give you any idea at all of its value. e bay is also a good source of an instrument's value. |

Location: 6 String Ranch | I think in 85 they were all hand written. On a paisley shaped lable, wasn't it?
As I recall all of the collectors series had hand done lables. There must be an exception, let's hear from you if there was. Thanks in advance |

| Ovation Collector's Series

serial # 2510
on volume nob it says "OP-24"
I didn't see a Paisley sticker. just an oval sticker inside the body. |

Location: puerto vallarta, mexico | the last two ovation collectors series i bought on e bay went for 330 and 350 with good but not mint cases. one 1982 and one 1983. both were in very good condition but required a setup. i am not familiar with the 85 but might be interested myself.
do you have any relatives in the detroit area? i went to school with a karl in the 60's with the same last name. can't be all that common.

Location: 6 String Ranch | The collectors that year had an oval lable but it had a bottom on it about the shape of a paisley. The OP-24 were tha standard electronics |

Location: Jacksonville, Florida | Hello CWK2, I sent you a short E-Mail a few days ago, but my "profile folder" says that it is "unread".
Question for the moderator - when private E-mails are transmitted between registered members of Ovationfanclub, do we automatically get a prompt that we've recieved mail? Or must we remember to check our "profile folder" or click on "tools" every once in a while to see if new mail has arrived?
Thanks to everyone for participating in this forum! |

Now that's a good question. I didn't set up the messaging (it was just there by default). I would just do a test anyway, send yourself a note and see if you get an indicator of it waiting. I will also check to see what the options are. I would most likely turn it off altogether unless someone sees a real need to keep it. I certainly don't want yet another place to have to check for eMail, I get between 80 to 150 emails a day as it is. |

Location: 6 String Ranch | I didn't get a prompt but went and checked and answered Mr.12-Bar. It was the neighborly thing to do. I guess it's just one more area to check when logging on. |
