I was interested in buying it from a family friend but have no idea on how much it is worth? or even if it's better than my S-771..

These are pretty comparable guitars. Unless you like the way one looks over the other, I don't think I'd make a change. I've played both and with new strings, they both sound great.

I've found out the last 6768 was made and sold in 1997,and I guess my question is how or if the electrics differ from the OP-24+ on my S-771,or do they use the same?I contacted Ovation but for some reason the rep did'nt know much about it except when the last one was sold.

Call the service dept at the factory, they should be able to tell you the differences
