Balladeer - Left or Right handed?

Joined: April 2002 Posts: 4 Location: Southern California Is there a way to tell if a Balladeer is really right handed or a lefty that's been converted? The strap peg on my 1111 made in 1975 is under the neck when held right handed. Is that normal? Joined: March 2002 Posts: 14842 Location: NJ It's my understanding (though I am not anywhere NEAR as knowledgeable as others here), but early Balladeers DID have the peg on the "underside" of the neck. If it was produced as a lefty the side markers on the fingerboard will be on the right side.
