I have only seen or known of three in my life.. but they are out there. I have one, and one other member of OFC has one I think, and I saw one on an online classified. I don't think I have ever seen one on eBay... and that really surprises me. But don't give up.. They made a bunch of them, and either someone is hoarding them, or they are out there hiding.

I think the initials stood for Guitar Paul. they were les paul shaped and very nice quality. somewhere in our archieves is a whole description of where they were built etc.
do a search on gp and find the thread GP quesiton and there is a ton of info there.

And also... just FYI.. there were GS guitars that stood for Guitar Strat... but they were no where near the quality of the GP.
