Location: Hot Springs, Arkansas | Hey, Guys. I have a chance to buy an Adamas model #1587-7 (original -early 80's- Adamas single cutaway) for about $1800 (including shipping). This is one I stumbled across and it is located in the Pacific rim, so I'll have to reimport it. My question is, is this a good deal? There is some slight fretwear and fretboard wear on the lower frets and the electronics are inop. Otherwise, from the pics, it looks pretty clean. It is the cutaway with the soundhole on the bass side upper bout. The color is sort of a blonde with a blue burst. (Difficult to tell from the photos.) Apart from the price, if I get it here and want to return it to the factory, will they repair the electronics and do a partial re-fret?
I'd appreciate any info, thoughts, ruminations on this guitar.
Thanks!

Guys, any comments here?
That is the beige color, not blue
-7 beige(tan)-8 is blue, -9 brown, -2 red, -TB tamaleburst, (not available in Adamas)

Location: Hot Springs, Arkansas | Thanks for the input. I think I'm gonna pass on this Adamas and just keep an eye out for one closer to home... If anyone wants me to put them in touch with the seller, let me know and I'll contact him for you and ask him to contact you. I don't feel comfortable revealing his email address, but I'll pass your info along to him.
