I just oined the forum. Glad I found it. I bought my Ovation back in 1986. i had it for less than 6 months and had to give it away. My sister, 2 years before had given me a Martin 12 string cause after breakig her hand, she could not play it.She asked for the Martin back to sell or me Ovation. She was a big Ovation fan. Mine being a Celebrity gave her the Ovation. I FINALLY got it back tonight. :-) It is a beauty. Looks just like the day I bought it. She hardly played it. Only troublle is the bridge is startig to pull up a little. I expected that. I will have to get it reglued.
I ust polished her up and put new strings on her. Couldn't really ry her out with new strings. The wife and son where already asleep. But tomorrow a.m., I will strum away. But the light playing I did, she sounds great. Well I got to get going. Hope to chat with you all often.
